Tractor Clutch

The Tractor Clutch is one of the most comfortable ways to drive and while it does come with all the modern bells and whistles of an electric vehicle it still allows you a great deal of freedom. Some people prefer the safety of the electric clattery over the convenience of an electric drive or even the comfort of a manual clutch. However there are many who think that the convenience of a clutch disc gives them more freedom when driving than the safety of an electrical vehicle. The clutch disc comes as a free-play device that allows you to use your foot instead of a foot brake to put pressure on the pedal which in turn gives you greater control over the steer of the tractor. There are four types of Tractor Clutch Discs, all offering different advantages to the driver.

The first type of tractor clutch is a foot clutch, this type of Tractor Clutch installs under your foot and requires no removal of your foot for driving. The advantage of this type of free-play Tractor Clutch is that there is no pressure plate to keep pressure on the pedal unlike other types of clutches where pressure plates are necessary to stop the clutch from engaging. This means that it is easier to apply pressure to the clutch plate with a foot clutch than with a conventional clutch. When you are applying pressure to the clutch plate with your foot, the weight of your body adds force to the clutch plate causing the lever to lift more easily and smoothly, allowing you more control over the steer of the tractor. Foot clutches also offer more flexibility, as you can easily change direction on a dime without stopping the car, unlike with most other types of conventional clutches.

Second on the list of advantages of Tractor Clutch is the Tractor Brake/Tiller combos. They are used with both electric and nonelectric agricultural machinery and the advantage they have over traditional clutch types is that they offer much greater control over speed limit settings. Tractor brakes also use a combination of pressure and air-lift to slow or stop a tractor so that tractors are able to pull up very quickly to make repairs or to turn corners. This feature is often used when the main tractor engine is not running, but the machine is in motion. There are even some fan clutches that have been built to work with vacuum cleaners.
