Tractor Solenoid

The Tractor Solenoid relays are an integral part to having the work done right. This is the main control device of a number of different machines including lawnmowers and leaf blowers. The Tractor Solenoid relays has 6V and is usually for gas engines. This tractor solenoid control relay has a four-wire design with terminals that can be easily changed for different types of connections.

When mounting this type of control solenoid, make sure to have the proper mounting brackets for the engine you will be mounting it on. Once you have located the solenoids mounting brackets, you need to disconnect the spark plug wires from their cables. You need to do this because the solenoid's main power source is the ignition switch. Then, unbolt the two small terminals holding the ignition switch in place on the firewall. Now you can safely remove the spark plugs and take the screws off to access the solenoids main body.

Be sure to check to make sure the wires are not damaged before you start removing the solenoids. Once you have done that, unbolt the two small terminals holding the wire to the solenoids. Now, unbolt the ignition switch and wires from the firewall. Now you are ready to install your solenoids. Place the solenoids where you want them and snap the mounting bracket on. Attach the wiring harness to your tractor's battery as you did with your solenoids.
